Well balanced attack guides Trojans to eighth place finish

Lead Summary

There was plenty of opposition for Turkey Valley during their track meet at Edgewood, as there were a total of 15 teams who competed at the event. The Trojans finished exactly in the middle of the standings, as their 38 team points placed them eighth.
“The boys for the most part ran well,” Turkey Valley boys head track coach Mark Scott said. “It is early, and there was good competition at the meet.”
The lone first place finish for the Trojans came by way of Elliott Dietzenbach in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:09.42. This was just two tenths of a second faster than Bellevue’s Brady Griebel and Sumner-Fredricksburg’s Kelby Olson.
