TV’s Klimesh shines at state trapshooting

Lead Summary

When the state trapshooting meet came to an end on Sunday, there was one Turkey Valley shooter who could call herself the best - Kaylie Klimesh.
Out of the 243 girls who competed at Cedar Falls Gun Club this past weekend, Klimesh tied for first with Ankeny Centennial’s Erin Neppl with a 196.
This caps off an outstanding year for Klimesh, who has been at or near the top of the standings every meet this season for the Trojans.
In the team standings, Turkey Valley placed 28th of the 116 teams who competed.
