TV basketball teams combine for 3-0 start after holiday break

Lead Summary

If the Turkey Valley girls basketball team would have stayed on their scoring pace through one quarter of play, they would have totaled 152 points.
It can sometimes be hard for teams to find their rhythm in their first game back from holiday break, but the Trojan girls had no trouble with this on their way to jumping out to a whopping 38-6 lead after the opening period against Postville on Friday.
“I liked our level of intensity coming off the break,” TV coach Carla Nymeyer said. “We really had a great total team effort with many good things on both offense and defense.”
