Turkey Valley golfers sweep Postville

Lead Summary

By now, the home coed golf season will be over for Turkey Valley, as their final meet at Jackson Heights took place yesterday [Thursday].    And while the wins have been in short supply this season, both teams picked up a victory Monday as the Trojans swept Postville.    Not only did they win both meets — the second win of the year for both the boys and the girls — but they took away the top individual awards.    Tuesday the girls had a meet with Crestwood and lost 222-259 to the Cadets.    A 55 led the girls’ meet in the win over Postville — a 239-287 win over the Pirates — with both Abbey Ott and Morgen Kuennen coming in with the score. It was a season low score for Ott, who splits her time between golf and trapshooting.  The rest of the story may be found in the April 28 Tribune.
