Trojan girls get blowout in 1A regional opener

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley’s girls weren’t happy about a loss to Kee High in early February, and with a 66-22 win over Starmont in the first round of regional action, they’ll be able to do something about it tonight (Tuesday).
That’s when the Trojans make a trek to Waukon to break a 1-1 tie in games played against the Kee Hawks this season. Turkey Valley won big the first time the teams played, but suffered a 4-point loss the second time.
That loss pushed the Trojans to third place in the Upper Iowa Conference, trailing MFL and Central, but Tuesday is the more important game.
