Trojan freshman part of four wins at Nashua

Here’s the understatement for this particular issue of the New Hampton Tribune: Turkey Valley’s Jalyssa Blazek had herself a day at the Nashua-Plainfield Coed Invitational on Tuesday.
The freshman had a hand in all four Trojans’ victories — claiming the 800 and the 3,000 and anchoring Turkey Valley to wins in the distance medley and the 4x400 relays.
She opened her night with a season-best run in the 3,000 and then anchored Kara Reicks, Karissa Schmidt and Kourtney Schmidt to a win in the distance medley. After a short break, she held off Nashua-Plainfield’s Aubrey Eick to win the 800 and then closed the night by anchoring Cambree Kruse, Josie Weber and Kourtney Schmidt to a win in the 4x400.
