Students take a trip to the fort

On Friday, September 23rd, Mr. Rodgers took all 20 8th grade students to the 2016 Rendezvous School Day in Fort Atkinson. Upon arrival, they were meet by a local tour guide which gave us a tour and valuable information on the history of the Fort Atkinson along with the soldiers that served.  We also learned about the buildings and their functions for the survival of the Fort.  After guided tour, students had time to go through the Forts Museum and visit the venders located on the outskirts of the Fort. Near the end of departure, student sate lunch on the bus near the park because of the rainy weather.  I would like to thank the TVEF for their support and giving the students of Turkey Valley this and many other additional education opportunities such as this one.
