Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Hampton will be celebrating its 75th anniversary on Sunday afternoon with an afternoon service and meal.The anniversary service begins at 4 p.m. and will be held at the church that is located at the corner of West Court Street and North Sherman Avenue. A meal will follow.The church’s origin dates back to a dream held by the Rev. H. Tjernagel to begin a mission in New Hampton. Through his efforts, this dream became a reality when on June 2, 1940, the Home Mission Board of the Norwegian Synod called candidates Nils C.
