A pretty good start!

The New Hampton girls golf team picked up right where they left off last season with a victory over Charles City 180-214. 
Although the meet was at Charles City, the Chickasaws talent and experience was too much for the Comets.
“We had a lot of girls with some nerves, and we had to overcome that. We’ve only had four holes on the course for six girls. Nobody else had played on a course,” New Hampton head girls golf coach Eric Olson said. “Hopefully next week we’re better than this week and we just keep moving up till postseason.”
