New Hampton trapshooting squads sweep top places

Of all places for a trapshooting meet on one of the windiest days of the season so far, Osage was not the place to be Monday.
“It was crazy windy, oh my gosh,” said Chickasaw coach Gayle Poncelet. “The wind always hits you at Osage, but Monday was exceptionally windy.”
That led to a conspicuous drop in scores from the Saturday meet at Nashua, where four of the six squads shot over 200.
