One bad inning Wednesday kept the Nashua-Plainfield softball team winless.The Huskies rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to take a 7-6 lead into the top of the seventh inning before Northwood-Kensett rallied for a 10-8 Top of Iowa East Division victory.Couple that with an 8-1 loss to New Hampton on Tuesday and an 18-0 loss to Class 2A ninth-ranked Central Springs on Monday, the Huskies took a 0-15 mark into Wednesday’s game at St. Ansgar.Against the Chickasaws, Brittany Bendickson pitched a strong game as she gave up seven hits and just three unearned runs.Leadoff hitter Sierra Fisher went 3-for-4 and both Britney Holthaus and Libby Fisher smacked doubles.
