Duane Keith Krueger, age 79 of Lone Tree passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at Pioneer Park in Lone Tree. 
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, Lone Tree. 
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.  29, 2020, at the funeral home. 
Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery at a later date.   
In lieu of flowers, or memorial donations can be made to the Lone Tree Athletic Boosters in memory of Duane.  Online condolences for the Krueger family may be sent to www.sandhfuneralservice.com

Duane was born Oct. 12, 1940, to Walter F. Krueger and Gladys P. Krueger (Attig) in Lone Tree. 
Duane had a passion for education, having taught mathematics and computer education at Lone Tree Community School District and Turkey Valley Community School District for a total of nearly 45 years. 
Throughout his teaching career, he was heavily involved in coaching various high school sports, including football, basketball, and track.  In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, tinkering with computers, and taking care of his horse, Charlie.
Duane will be deeply missed by his children, Angela Jenkins of Aurora, Colorado; Anthony Krueger of Lone Tree, Holly Gonet and husband, Michael of Marietta, Georgia, Nathan Krueger and wife, Tracy of West Salem, Wisconsin, Daniel Krueger and wife, Christine of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Joseph Krueger of Horton; 16 grandchildren; and siblings, Alan Krueger and wife, Judy of New Martinsville, West Virginia, Dwight Krueger and wife, Julie of Nichols and Ray “Steven John” Krueger and partner, Francoise of Australia.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gladys and one brother, Ronald Krueger.
