The bad news if you’re a New Hampton resident or business is you’re sewer bill is going up.The good news is, at least compared to several area cities, that bill could be far worse.The New Hampton City Council approved the third reading of an ordinance increasing sewer rates, which had remained the same since 2009.“The council really didn’t have a lot of choices in this for a few reasons,” New Hampton City Clerk Suellen Kolbet said. “There are things happening that are really out of their control.”— For more on this story, see the Oct. 7 Tribune
