Chickasaws pick up two wins at Osage

Lead Summary

The New Hampton girls track team saw many of their times increase from Friday’s meet in Decorah on Tuesday at the Osage Girls Invite, as lower temperatures made running conditions unfavorable.
Out of the seven teams who competed, the Chickasaws finished fifth with 71 points.
“We looked sluggish and heavy on our legs,” New Hampton head girls track coach Jeanette Laures said. “At this time last year, we were begging to get a meet in, and now, we’re really needing some time to get our legs back under us and freshen up a bit, so we can come out with some stronger performances next week.”
