Chickasaws fall at Border Battle

The Border Battle wasn’t kind to New Hampton this past Saturday as both the Chickasaws’ boys and girls basketball teams dropped games to Minnesota schools.
Not that they didn’t go down without a fight.
St. Charles needed two overtimes to tame the Chickasaw girls, 58-55, who fell to 2-4, while the Chickasaw boys came up a bit short in a 45-37 loss to Kingsland.
Start with the girls game, which was tight the entire way.
