Chickasaws crown two champs at NEIC

Here’s what you need to know about New Hampton/Turkey Valley’s two Northeast Iowa Conference champs: Never, ever think you have points against Carson Babcock and Evan Rosonke until they’re on the scoreboard.
Both the champs showed just how dangerous they are in scrambles Saturday as they claimed wins over ranked Waverly-Shell Rock wrestlers in what for a time at least were thrilling matches.
“We work through positions all the time,” New Hampton/Turkey Valley coach Matt Paulus said, “and obviously those guys are really talented, but the work they put into that is huge.”
