Chickasaw girls remain unbeaten on the court

Lead Summary

New Hampton’s volleyball team put it almost all together Tuesday night as the Chickasaws rolled to straight-set victories over a pair of Upper Iowa Conference foes.     “I was super happy with the way our girls played overall,” New Hampton coach Jess Geerts said after the Chickasaws routed Lansing Kee 25-14, 25, 11 and Turkey Valley 25-9, 25-7. “I agree 100 percent that we played our game. We have our goals set high and these girls know that they need to play their level and above at all times to accomplish our goals.”     And New Hampton, which improved to 4-0, was running on high octane from the start.     It started at the service line, where New Hampton was 38-for-40 and piled up 16 aces.
