Chickasaw girls land three on all-NEIC teams

Lead Summary

The Northeast Iowa Conference implemented five-on-five girls basketball in the 1994-1995 season. Up until this year, there hadn’t been a single freshman honored as a Northeast Iowa Conference first-team player. But that drought has finally come to an end.
New Hampton’s Carlee Rochford was one of two freshman - the other being Bryar Duwe of Decorah - to be elected to the first team.
It is a well-deserved accolade for Rochford, who averaged 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 blocks in NEIC affairs. These numbers all ranked top 10 in the conference individually.
