Chickasaw boys drop final two regular season games

Lead Summary

After riding a two-game winning streak heading into last week, the New Hampton boys basketball team was hoping to end the regular season strong in their final two contests against Northeast Iowa Conference foes Crestwood and Waukon. However, they were unable to do so, as they allowed over 70 points in each of these affairs.
Against the Cadets on Tuesday, the Chickasaws trailed by just three points at 11-8 after the opening quarter.
But Crestwood caught fire over the next two periods, posting 26 points in the second quarter and 27 points in the third quarter to grow their advantage to 64-36.
